The ICNLP2024 technical program will highlight a series of Special Sessions to complement the regular program with new or emerging topics of particular interest to the Natural Language Processing.

Topic: Multi-modal Information Processing: Recent advances and applications

Single Modal Data Analysis
Acquisition Techniques for Multi-Modal Data
Multi-Modal Representation and Translation
Multi-Modal Alignment and Fusion
Cross-Modal Retrieval, Co-Training, Transfer Learning, Few/Zero-Shot Learning
Applications of Multi-Modal Information Processing

The papers in each accepted Special Session will undergo a review process, similar to the other regular papers. Accepted papers will be published by the conference proceedings, inclusion to indexing databases. It is the responsibility of the organizers to ensure that their Special Session papers meet ICNLP quality standards. In case a paper in a Special Session does not meet the expected quality, it will be rejected and an effort will be made to draw papers from the regular submission process to fill in the gap. If too many papers for a given Special Session are not accepted in the review process and we are unable to find suitable substitutes from the regular review pool, the Special Session may be canceled. Submitted papers must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference. All accepted and presented papers will be published into Conference Proceedings,  and submitted to Ei Compendex and Scopus for indexing.

All submissions should be with a minimum paper length of Four (4) and a maximum paper length of Five (5) printed pages including figures without incurring additional page charges. Papers exceeding Ten (10) pages will not be accepted at ICNLP 2024. Please refer to the ICNLP 2024 paper template for more details on the submission format.

Frequently Asked Questions

ICNLP will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under reviewing, is accepted for publication, or has already been published in another conference or journal. Authors are also expected not to submit their papers elsewhere during the reviewing period. Submitted papers are expected to contain original work executed by the authors with adequate, proper and scholarly citations to the work of others. It is the job of the authors to clearly identify both their own contribution(s) and also published results / techniques on which they depend or build. Reviewers are charged to ensure these standards are met.

There are mainly two categories for paper submission:

1. Full Paper/Publication
Full paper submission is required. The final manuscript will not be published without advance registration after receiving paper acceptance notification.

2. Abstract/Oral Presentation Only (No publication)
Only abstract submission is required. The abstract cannot be orally presented without advance registration after receiving abstract acceptance notification. And the abstract won't be published in conference proceedings or journal.

A confirmation and paper id for submission will be sent via email within 1-2 working days. If you can not receive a confirmation more than 3 days, please contact: icnlp@chairmen.org. A preliminary selection process will take about 10-15 days after your submission, at which point you will be notified by email whether it was selected. Then after peer review process, initial acceptance/rejection will be distributed about 30 days after your submission. Please complete registration only after you receive the notification of acceptance. You should follow the steps in the notification for a successful registration.
